Whirlpool Washer not drainng

Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

After the rinse cycle the washer would not start the spin cycle and drain the water. It made a small humming sound but would not spin, I got a faint burning smell for a second, then nothing. Any information is appreciated. Thank You.
