My "porcelin" wash basket has rusted through on the neck underneath the agitator. I have available to me a Kenmore #11020702990 washer. the wash basket is the "speckled" coated type. It otherwise appears the same as mine with same mounting I think. Does anybody know if I could use this one?

PS- when searching for replacement baskets given the above 2 model #s they are only 1 number apart so I'm guessing/hoping it's just a difference in finish?

These are both Whirlpool made machines and the parts list at Sears has different part numbers, but only the last digit.

I am going to say yes, you should be able to use the other basket.
