Whirlpool Cabrio Washer F-51

Model Number: WTW6400SW2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

This washer, in the manual spin test @ about 400 rpm shakes violently and has to be stopped. It seem the basket is loose and maybe the bottom bearing worn. In the manuel spin test when I stop it it showes the F-51 code. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi.

The F51 code means Rotor PSsition sensor failure(RPS).
Open the top using the putty knife (one clip in each corner) and locate the tech sheet on the side panel.
See test #3. You will need a multimeter.
