my maytag washer will drain the water out and sometimes it will spin out the clothes but other times not. I replaced the belt 2 weeks ago thinking that it was simply slipping too much, but last night I went down to put clothes in the dryer and they were heavy so I tried to re-spin them and the drum was not turning at all. I tricked out the lid switch and it sounded like it was trying to spin but I had reach in and help it to start and it just barely spun. Today I loaded in a medium size load and it spun out fine. The snubbers and springs are a year old.
