The regular cycle operates as it should. The easy care cycle will fill with water but does not agitate. I hear it ticking like a timer. The gentle cycle will fill with water but agitates very roughly.
Time for a new washer or might this be an easy fix?
Thanks!

What is the model number of your washer? You posted 3 different model numbers. Why?
Gene.

Gene. That's what it said on the manual. On the washer, after pulling it out and everything, it reads WPSF4170WOWW. Now do you have an anwer?

The problem can be a bad timer or a bad motor. Both parts are expensive so, it might be time for a new washer. - The motor Part number: WH49X10035
