My washer fills ok with water but then nothing after ward, no spin, no drain, no time forwarding, It's sitting with full of water.. I am thinking it's LID swtich, will it prevent the timer from forwarding too?

Please help....little more detail..

Previous must have tried to fix it...back plate was off, I put it together connect hose and all good stuff..

Ist day, fill with water no spin/drain and timer....then it drain itself at night..

Hi.

Most likely it's the lid switch Part number: 8054980
Part number: 8054980

Open the control panel and install temporary jumper wire between Black and Red wires of the lid switch. If the washer starts - replace the lid switch.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Whirlpool LSQ9600LW1 AUTOMATIC WASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.
