maytag washer completely stopped working
Model Number: lat9605aae Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
stopped completely after shutting off when agitating tried to start it again would not start in any cycle unplugged>2min. would not reset would not drain in any setting. timer needs replaced? #ap4026633 {timer}

I do not have much experience with this type of problem, but since no one has posted a solution I will give you a couple suggestions that I determined by looking at the electrical schematics. I would check the fuse and the lid switch. The schematics seem to suggest that if either one failed you would have very little function in the machine.
