Model Number: fws223rfs2 Brand: Frigidaire Age: More than 10 years
tub leaks at bottom where the transmission goes into it. i heard its called a centerpost gasket, not sure if thats right but i called to order ,they say its discontinued. also is there a trick to getting the agitator off? thanks in advance

Given the age of the machine I really think you are better off replacing it with a new, basic top loader. They are frequently on sale in our area for about $300 to $350 and you will be much happier with a new one than with an old one that might require constant repair.
