With so many inconsistent symptoms I want to look for loose or faulty connections and check the door latch and soap dish switch, if there is one. Sometimes the diagnostics will run, sometimes not. When the Universal and Quick test run I get 28 followed by a degree sign. If this is a code I cannot find it.

Humidity has been in the 90's here for a couple of weeks.

It has run through all cycles flawlessly twice since major symptom started,

Major symptom: Select Wash, Press Start, Door will lock, Drum will go 1/4 turn then stop then control board indicated "drain unlock", Door unlocks in about 1 minute.

Your guidance and any dis-assembly tips will be appreciated.
