My Frigidaire washer started making a very loud, screeching noise during the final spin. I turned it off immediately. After removing the clothes, I gave the inside a quick spin by hand (as I always do) to make sure there were no clothes stuck to the inside if the tub. I noticed that it no longer spins as freely and as smoothly as it always has. There seems to be some sort of grinding that keeps it from moving freely. I am desperate to get it fixed because today--of all days--is when my new countertops are being delivered and installed, and my washer and dryer are underneath those counters. As of right now, the washer is completely accessible, but once the counters are down, it will be much tougher to reach.
