washer fills and stops
 

Washer will sometimes fill, and stop. My wife will have to advance the timer by hand for agitation to start. At other times, washer advances fine. I replaced the timer with a brand new one, but the problem did not go away.

Make up a small jumper with some 18 gauge wire.
The next time it doesn’t start properly when full
unplug the washer at the outlet and connect the jumper
directly between terminals 11 and 14 on the water level pressure
switch, (that’s between the gray and blue wires)
(see pic below) then plug the washer back in.
If it starts then the washer needs a new pressure switch.
