Model Number: PERFORMA Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
I have a MAYTAG PERFOMA and inadvertently put in a giant load of clothing, but had the machine set on MINI LOAD. Then I left the house.
I came back to a dead machine. I verified that the outlet has power and unplugged the machine and plugged it back in. Tried changing all settings on the controls, but the machine is still totally dead. I hope I did not burn out the motor. Is there an internal reset someplace? help!?! and thanks Ads By Google Related Models |

We need a model number to say very much, but it is not likely your problem was caused by too large a load with the setting on mini. If no water will enter the machine then it is likely a problem with the timer developed.
Also take off the front panel and examine the motor, transmission and the pump.
