Model Number: lse7804ade Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
My wife was doing laundry last night and when she went to start the third load the washer would not fill.
The washer will turn on for the spin cycle but it will not fill and during spin there is no water either. I followed some routine checks making sure that the machine is still getting water from the taps and it is. What should I check next. (dryer is working fine) Ads By Google Related Models |

Hi.
Open the front panel and check the fuse on the left. If it's blown - replace it and check the lid switch and check switch and replace if needed. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Maytag LSE7804ADE STACKED LAUNDRY- ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com Thank you. Post the results. Simon.

Hi Simon,
Thank you for the reply. I checked the fuse and it looks to be blown. I have a few. I replaced the fuse and plugged the washer back in. I did not check the lid switch because I do not recognize the lid switch in the diagram and I do not see a part labelled lid switch. So I plugged the washer back in and turned on a wash cycle. It was dark and noticed a brief flash. Unplugged the washer again, pulled the fuse and it is blown How do I check the lid switch? and/or replace it as I do not see it on the diagram. Tim |

Hi.
It's in the right rear corner under the top. See diagram #12. Also, you should check the water inlet valve coils for the short or the ground. Thank you. Simon
