Model Number: WFK 2401 Brand: Bosch Age: More than 10 years
Problem description:
Washer WFK 2401UC/01 For some time this washer has stopped in cycle and the '01' Fault Code has flashed. That Fault Code is labeled "Door Locked" The description reads: --Tap has not been turned on. Open water valve(s) and press "Start" button. --Filters in water inlet are blocked. See CARE AND CLEANING section of the manual Thus far we have: 1. Cleaned as per the above instructions 2. Replaced the water inlet valve 3. Replaced the Control Board. We still have the original problem: The washer cycle starts, then stops and the '01" Fault code flashes. NOTE: WE NOW REALIZE THAT WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE DOOR LOCK LIGHT FLICKERS. When the machine stops we can restart it by pressing the "Start" button. This afternoon we have put the washer through two cycles with the following results 1. Wash temperature set at 3. Washer stopped at 25 19 16 13 Each time the O1 Fault Code flashed and the door lock flickered. Each time we pressed start and the machine continued to wash until the next stop. 1. Wash temp set at 1. Washer stopped at 20 and 17. Fault Code 01 flashed. Door Lock Light flickered. Each time we pressed "start" the machine restarted and continued to wash. Please help! We are in our mid 70's, on a fixed income and the only two Bosch repair centers in our area charge an astronomical trip charge we cannot afford. We do have an independent repair person who can do the work. Ads By Google Related Models |

Hi
To be honest with you I don't work on Bosch washing machines, but if they are like any other front load washing machine I would suspect the door lock mechanism is at fault and needs to be replaced.
