I have a GE Profile Washer that is banging against brackets when it is in the agitate phase of the washing. Others phases are ok.
I took the front panel off and you see the unit rock left and right. it goes to far and hits the brackets that is there to hold the bar that is used during shipment.
It seems that it is rocking to far. I see nothing that is suppose to keep the unit from doing this.

At the same time I see that weight of the load causes the bracket under the motor to touch the panel on the bottom. I replaced the four spring rods. But it still touches but not as bad.

Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks
Tim

Hi.

Check the tub straps, they are connecting the tub to the cabinet.
If one broke - replace all four Part number: WH1X2727
