Default Frigidaire front loader won't start: Door Lock Light on
Model Number: GLTR1670FS   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

My front loader won't start. When I try to start the machine, the only thing that happens is the Door Lock Light turns on.

My wife said that she opened the door when cycle was almost over (machine wasn't spinning but the lock light was still on). She told me that she didn't have to tug, the door opened rather easily.

I ordered a new Door Lock Assembly/Mech and installed it but the same problem occurred.

Any ideas? I have a newborn at home creating a lot of laundry and am getting frustrated.

I took the top off the machine and reconnected all the wires to the door lock assembly. AND EVERYTHING WORKS!!!

Perhaps I didn't seat connectors properly.

Sorry if I wasted anybody's time.
