Whirlpool Duet - WFW9150 model - stopped working! The machine is barely 2 yrs old!!!

At first the washer, stopped spinning in the middle of the cycle and the LED blinks 9 times! The machine tries to spin half way but is unable to in all cycles that I have tried.

To fix the F9 problem(reading the manual) I have cleaned out the filter, unplugged for over night to reset the machine. Nothing seems to be working and it just beeps/blinks.

Now, the machine stays idle, so a humming sounds comes on when the machine is turned on, but nothing happens, after about 5 minutes the 9 blinking lights and the beeping will begin!

These models are very difficult to diagnose, sometimes we wonder if Whirlpool made them that way on purpose.

I suggest you replace the main control unit, it is one of the weak areas of this machine. If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.
