LG washer will not spin
Model Number: WM2277HW Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a model WM2277HW LG front load washer (new in 2004). Most of the mechanical parts have been replaced. Recently I did a load of wash...The washer agitates, adds water, drains but does not spin. It seems to be looking for the signal to proceed to the spin cycle. I have tried it with the drum empty of clothes and still get the same result. The machine is balanced, the water inlet filters are clean, the drain pump have been removed and completely cleaned and working fine. I'm thinking it might be a timer sensor. I did have a technician here who said it was fine and then charged me 278.00. HELP please.
