Tonite my washer had a smell when it ran. The motor turns and the water drained. But the smell is intense. Any ideas what part is/has failed and is it worth fixing or buying a new washer? Thnak you for any help you can give

Hi.

Use the putty knife to open the front panel (two clips on the top each corner) and see if you can locate the smell. Belt, pump, motor, transmission pulley.

Thank you.

Simon.
