Hello,

I have a GE top loader washer (Model # WHDSR315D5WW). Normally, when I push the knob on the front panel, the washer tops and pulling the knob starts the cycle; however, since yesterday the when I push the knob, the water starts filling. Also once the washer completes the cycle the knob does not go back in (i.e., in pushed position) so that I can do a new cycle. Please help!

Thanks,
Niket

Hi Simon - Is there a way I can confirm before I order this expensive part? Is there anything else I can try to see if it works?

Hi.

I am afraid there is no test to confirm it.
But you always can return any parts even if they been installed.(If you purchased them from APP).
