Washer will not fill with water
Model Number: WSSH300G1WW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a GE front loading washer (WSSH300G1WW) which does not fill with water. I have checked the supply lines and filter screens and nothing seems to be at issue there. The water valve is getting voltage as well. The machine will enter the spin cycle so the motor appears to be working.
When looking at the drain pump, it appears that the plastic shield on top has completely melted over the pump. I believe this is unrelated to the problem and assume the pump works as there is no water in the washer, but is it possible that the pump has failed and the machine will not fill with water as a result? Any advice our thoughts on what might be the issue or what exactly I should be looking into would be much appreciated. On another note, does any one have a service manual for this washer that they might be able to provide? Thanks, Nicole Ads By Google Related Models
