Well, first thanks for all the help here. Secondly, I replaced the clutch in a Kenmore series 500, mod. 110.28522701. Now, no power, only water intake. The wall socket has been tested with a known good device and the device runs. I dont feel a lid switch under the right hinge wire that should be part of the lid switch. Could it have fallen off? I notice the lid switch part requires a screw. And, is the lid switch on the right or left. Thanks again. Biglakebubba.

Hi.

The lid switch on this model is on the left.You can test it by jumping two outer wires.

The lid switch Part number: 8318084
