Model Number: TAWS800JQ1 Brand: Estate Age: 5 - 10 years
Just Bought Second Hand, I already used the agitator kit and it agitated fine and would fill up, But would not Drain or Spin ,So ran the Agitator by Pass test ,it has the older type Lid Switch so used a Jump wire ran it to Grey and to Tan then it drained and spin out all the water complete the spin cycle and shut off like it should do. Then i just wanted to see if it would Fill starting at the Normal Cycle and Now It JUST Buzz's it won't Fill,Spin ,Agitate Nothing Just Buzz Thats it. I have'nt put the New Lid Switch in Yet, But it would'nt Fill or Agitate, Spin It just Buzz's. With or without the Jumper Wire. So Any Help Here Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Question if i replace Lid Switch Now with a New One Could that Solve all these Inoperable Problems? Thanks wyocwboy

Hi.
With the lid switch bypassed turn the timer to the Spin. What happens? Check if the buzzing sound comes from the water inlet valve. If it is - see if the faucet is open. Thanks. Post the results. Simon.
