Model Number: wzre5260f0gg Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I am replacing my transmission on my ge washing machine. I got the old one out and the new one positioned and when i went to put the mounting bolts back in they wouldn't start. I noticed the holes are there but not tapped (not threaded.) My question is, is this suppose to be like this? Or is it a faulty part. They are trying to tell me its made that way and i need to buy the self-tapping screw. But the part numer they said i need is the same bolt I already have. What do I do? And if it ships this way why wouldn't they say you need new mounting bolts.
