Roper will not agitate or spin

Model Number: Stylemaster 4213575 Brand: Roper Age: More than 10 years

Roper stylemaster will fill and empty but will not agitate or spin. I know the diff. between Phillips and flat but not much else. Can I fix this or should I call a repairman.
