Model Number: 20982 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
First this washer started leaking a small amount of grease under the unit. Then the klunk during a transmission change got very loud. Then the agitator spindle started to chatter/wobble off center during agitation. Lastly the unit started to smell like burning electrical wires. From other posts I see that I need to:
Check the motor amp draw in spin Check the coupler spinning pressure with the motor removed Check the timer contacts Check all other wiring. What is the likely cause of the wobbly agitator? Any other suggestions? Thanks, George |
