washer works as it should through all cycles except spin.timer advances through cycle basket as it should,coupler is ok and clutch/trans looks like it turns ok basket does nothing.thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

You really cannot tell the condition of the clutch by looking at it. If it drains then the motor is turning. Watch it with the cabinet off while it is in spin mode (jumper the lid switch) If the clutch housing is turning, try replacing the clutch.
