My Maytag washer keeps burning out new fuses in the lid and check switches assembly.

you need one of these.
the two switches interact, and if one is not switching (at the correct time) it is designed to blow the fuse. Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Switch, lid assembly, part number: AP4026359 |
