Model Number: DLW330 RAW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
I replaced the seal on the wash tub. When I put everything back together I did have a hard time putting the rubber boot on. Could the pounding have bent something underneath? It seems like the springs are not keeping the tub in balance. The tub is not centered. Are the springs suppose to be criss crossed or straight?

i have an amana washer too, but different model and my tub won't stay centered either, and i haven't taken it apart (although my repairman did).
the main concern i have with my model (NAV2330AWW) is that i have a thin layer of linty crap on my clothes after they are washed. a long time ago i washed a bath mat and the rubber backing had dry-rotted, so the bits of white stuff came off in the washer. i wonder if my washer has a lint trap and if so, how do i take it out and clean it to see if that's the source of the white film? |

Mandy, the NAV2330AWW washer does not have a lint trap.

it looks really small, doesn't it? i thought it would look more like a basket or collander. instead it is very small and looks like the head of a round cheese grater. it wouldn't shock me if it was clogged. but how on earth do i get the agitator off? do i twist or pull straight up or what? twisting seems to do nothing. i know there's supposed to be a bolt in there, but i can't get the fabric softener cup off the top to get to any bolt.

I have attached a sheet from the service manual for your model that shows how to remove the agitator.
