This washer is just over 2 years old. The machine works perfectly execpt on spin, instead of spinning the agitator goes back and forth slowly, I checked error codes on the motor, the light blinks in all cycles as normal. I have opened up the tub area and checked for items that may have slipped betweent the tub and outer drum, nothing.
The washer drains properly and fills properly and washes properly. I feel its either a new motor or a new shaft/mode shifter any ideas?

First of all go through the resetting process, some times that is all that is needed.

If that does not fix things I lean towards replacing the mode shifter.
