washer is filling with hot water but no COLD water is coming through

Model Number: LXR7244JQO Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer is exactly 10years old. It fills with Hot water, But does not fill with COLDWater. Can someone help me to determine what is the issue.

Hi.

First determine if there is cold water going to the water valve by taking the hose off the valve (don't forget to turn the water off first).
If the water pressure is good turn the washer to cold wash and check if the cold water solenoid energizing. If there is 120v at the solenoid - replace the water inlet valve.

The water valve Part number: 285805

Use the video clip for the instructions.
