As long as the lid switch is working it is okay to hard wire the lid switch wiring to the wiring coming from the console. Just make sure to use crimp connectors or wire nuts and tape everything well.

TY for all ur help it is a single wire so i never found where the other end connects...but i did find someone to help me just wanted to fix it myself ..lol
