Hot water is very slow when filling washer
Model Number: LAT5705AAE Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
When I have the temperature dial set to "Hot/Cold" or "Warm/Warm" the washer is VERY slow to fill. (More so if set to "Hot/Cold".) Is it possible I could just have sediment built up somewhere inside the washer, or is there some other fix? I have cleaned the sediment screen on the hose where it attaches to the water valve on the wall. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hi.
Remove the hot water inlet hose from the washer, put inside the tub and check if the water pressure from the hose is OK. If it's fine then clean the screen inside the water valve. If that wouldn't help - replace the water inlet valve. For the part number please post the correct model number. Thank you. Simon.
