I have a Fridigaire Front Loader FWTR445RFS0 '97. The machine has been good over the years with little or no problems other than a broken spring. We have always used liquid detergent in the machine, so no powder detergents.

Whats happening is when I turn on the machine to the wash cycle water begins to flow to the tub as expected but after 45-50 seconds the flow appears to back up in the dispenser and begin leaking from the from of the machine.

Steps taken so far:

1) I have removed the dispenser and cleaned it thoroughly
2) Tested the flow of water through the dispenser by using a quart pitcher and poring water through front of the dispenser.
3) Inspected the door boot and fill duct to the tub appears clear
4) Removed top of washer and inspected the overfill hose on top and it was clear as well.

The thing I cant seem to get to is the Duct-fill part # 131272300 to inspect closely.

So that may be where things are backing up...The only way it seems to get to that part is too remove the front panel.

Would removing the front panel be my next step?

How do you remove the front panel? does not look like an easy task...

or could it be something else...
