Washer Lid Replacement
Model Number: 110.22086100 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
My Kemnore Calypso Washer's on/off touch switch does not work. All the other touch buttons do work. I did some online research and decided that the lid switch must be bad. I ordered the switch from your web site, and now am having trouble figuring out how to get to the existing lid switch to replace it. Please advise. Thanks, Mike

Lid Switch Replacement
I'm not sure what detail you are asking for. All I need to know is the step by step procedure to replace the lid switch. (I have a Kenmore Calypso Washer- Model 110.22086100. I have new part #8272124 (the lid switch) that I am trying to install)

I did ask you that question to verify your diagnostics. If you are sure that the lid switch will fix it, the instructions are attached. Gene.

Lid Replacement
Thanks for the instructions. However, they don't apply to my washer. In the "Removing the Console" instructions, under the step that says to remove the emblem, to expose a torc screw.... my Kemnore washer doesn't have any emblem to remove.
Any sugeestions? Mike

Mike,
These instructions are for Calypso washer. Kenmore can be slightly different but Sears does not publish any instructions. Try to use your common sense. Gene.
