Default water level switch install
Model Number: LNC6760A71   Brand: Admiral   Age: 1 - 5 years

I bought the AP246906 water switch for my washer. But is has different labeling on the wire connectors than the original one on the washer.

Original one has three connections numbered 11,14 and 12. Orange wire attached to #12, blue wire attached to #14 and gray wire attached to #11.

This new switch has three connectors as well, but they are numbered 1, 2 and 3. How do I know what color wire goes to what number?

According to the electrical schematic the gray wire goes to the terminal #1, the orange wire goes to the terminal #2 and the blue wire goes to the terminal #3.

Gene.

Thanks for your help, but this unfortunately did not fix the overfill problem. I went ahead and bought a new machine.
