I have a maytag MAV6000AWW and the washer doesnt spin any longer on the rinse cycle. The water pump seems to have some wear and I am trying to figure out if that is the issue. Any suggestions welcome.

Tilt the washer back and remove the belt. Check how freely the pump pulley is moving in both directions. If it does not move freely, replace the pump. Also check all drain hoses.
