Hello!

With a large load of laundry (but not overloaded) and with setting at "super large" load using detergent, the machine filled to the proper level and began agitating. After quite a while the agitation stopped and it started ADDING WATER till the tub was filled to the top. When it resumed agitation, the water started running out of the white overflow drain pipe at the bottom rear of the washer. I am guessing the water addition started about midway thru the wash cycle. It DID NOT do this during the rinse cycle OR when run with NO CLOTHES in the machine at the same setting.
Also, the "large load" setting only fills the tub a LITTLE over halfway.. is this normal??

Will really really appreciate any help on this!!! Really!

Take off the front and the console and clean out any debris in the plastic tube going from the water level pressure switch. Try it again, and if this does not solve the problem, and it is likely it will not, you can try replacing the water level pressure switch itself.

Here it is.

Part number: AP3203714
Part number: AP3203714

If this does not fix the problem then the control assembly is the next suspect, but you are starting to get into some money and you may want to limp along with it as it is, or replace it.

Good luck.
