i have a w/pool washer (duet). when i press the on button, the machine turns on becasue the light goes on. so i know i'm getting electric. but when i press start (in other words, expecting the machine to strt filling with water) it doesnt do anytrhing. i tried switching cycle settings, nothing. i checked the water hose, nothing. i unplugged and plugged in the washer, nothing. i tried pressing the end cycle signal button for 3 seconds and nothing. my friend seems to think it's the timer. we looked online but there are several to choose from. the serial number is csm 5006361 and the type is 199-awm 075/bl. can you pls specify what part i need in order to replace the timer?

If you take off the bottom panel you should find some tech notes, along with info about how to put the machine into a test/diagnosis mode.

See if you can do that and if that helps to determine what is wrong.
