My ge washer model wpsq3120taww has begun to stop during the spin cycle. I can greatly reduce the load size, repeatedly depress and release the lid switch, and the spin cycle will complete. I have had 14 years of good service from this washer. Should I repair or replace?

I also need to no the cubic feet of this model or of the wpxo3090.

Try by-passing the lid switch. If that fixes it, it is well worth replacing the lid switch on this machine.
