Drum banging around /belt cutting into drum
Model Number: MLE2000ayw Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
My maytag Neptune washer is banging around during spin cycle ,drum doesn't seem stable so I'm not sure if the shocks are gone. In addition to this the belt is is sliding cutting into the drum. Can this be repaired or should I just buy a new one.

Hi.
Are you talking about the outer tub or the inner basket? Is there any loud noise during the spin? Are you able to move the inner basket up and down and side to side by hand? Thank you. Simon.
