Need to replace drive block on washer, not sure which way to turn cap stud screw to take old one off. "clock wise or counter clock wise?". I don't want to break it.

I am not certain what you are trying to do, but here are two things that will help.

1. Despite the GE name this is really a Frigidaire made laundry center.

2. Here is the Frigidaire service manual that will explain how to service the machine. It is very complete with great pics
