No spin and no drain
Model Number: HAV2360AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
tHE MACHINE started by no spin and no drain every now and then to almost all the time to not at all, seems to fill and agitate ok I believe. There was some squealling and squeaking then a smell of rubber to all the time. When I pulled the machine out there was a pile of ground rubber on the front right of the machine.

Hi.
Remove the front panel (using the potty knife unclip the two clips on the top sides). Turn the washer to spin and check if the motor runs. Take the belt off and manually turn the motor, the pump and the transmission pulleys. See if any of are jamming. Rotate the transmission pulley in both directions. In one it agitating, opposite - tub spins. Post the results.Thank you. Simon.
