Model Number: hjsr2070t6ww Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
I've got problems with my hotpoint washing machine .It makes squeeking noises when the agitator is on(wash cycle).

It is almost impossible for us to diagnose a noise like you have because the main way we do so is to listen to it and determine what the problem is by the sound of the noise and the area of the machine it is coming from. Obviously we cannot do that here.
I would advise you to take off the front of the washer (your model number does not come up so I can only tell you generically that most of these have clips at the top between the front and the top which release when you stick a putty knife or screw driver in the gap between the top and front at the edges) and operate it. See if you can determine the area that is causing the noise. If you need more info, let us know what you found out and check your model number and post it. Good luck.
