It took me a while to figure out how to remove a timer on a 10 year old Maytag so thought I would add a post. I bought a used timer on ******** for $25.00 including shipping. With a flat screwdriver, remove a small cap on the center of the dial. That will expose a tinnerman clip, remove that with a pair of needle nose pliers. Mine had four screws on the top of the control panel. Remove them and place in a small cup. You may also remove a small spring and the rest of the dial assembly Take pictures of all the wires front and back and maybe make a small sketch with wire lugs numbered and color of wires. Mine had 5/16 screws I removed with a nut runner. Remove and replace one wire at a time. Reassemble in reverse order of disassembly I took pictures but coud not get them to load here email me at dburg1947@yahoo.comd if you wnat them.
