My washer overflowed and flooded my garage. I had washed blanket and may have been to heavy, although I have done this before. Water was pouring out the top of the washer and from underneath. It would not spin or drain. I un plugged the machine, shut the water off. I took the wet blanket out. I plugged the machine in again and put the water back on. I set the dial to spin and it did spin and the water emptied and was still leaking from underneath. I turned the dial to wash and it would not agitate. I did replace the coupler about 6 months ago when it would not spin or agitate. It appears the agitator is not working but if that is bad would it still leak from underneath

Hi.
You may have stripped agitator splines or it's a bad transmission. On the top of it - the water leak is not related to the agitator problem. Tough decision.
Post the results if you need any help.
Simon.
