Model Number: Whirlpool Kenmoore Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Hello, I hope someone can help me. My whirlpool washer (Purchased used/repaired so the model number is removed) started acting funny durring the Spin mode. Looking at many repair sites I confirmed that it wasnt the door switch and started playing with the timer. I noticed that if I pulled up on the timer knob or turned it off and on the spin cycle would start up. I was told that the motor in the switch could be going bad, so I decided to open the timer ( Part Number 3951166B). When I did that, a small spring popped loose and I cant figure out how the spring is supposed to go back in. I have included a picture of the disasembled timer and an arrow pointing to the area/post the spring was on. Can you tell me what part/arm the spring was connected too?
Can you send me a diagram? Maybe a picture of a complete one? Any help would be apreciated. Rock |
