Have an Amana top load washer, approx. 7 yrs. old. Recentlly I replaced the belt after it shredded, the pump (because I had to cut it off), and the motor (I damaged the pulley trying to get the pump off). The unit seemed to run fine for about 3 weeks, untol the belt broke again. I replaced the belt, but noticed belt dust on the pulley as I was testing the unit. I also noticed on the final spin cycle that the unit seemed alittle louder than normal. What could it be? Could it be the transmission? Where should I start looking?

Given what you have done I would say the transmission is the problem, in which case you should consider a new machine.
Sorry not to have good news.
