My Calypso washing machine showed a CI error code, I then CANCELed out the error, and after that, the unit/control panel was dead. I believe that I create the problem given that shortly after the wash cycle started, I pop open the lid, dropped in an additional piece of laundry, and then hit the START button before letting the unit come to a complete stop. That's when I got the CI error, cancelled it and all has been dead since then.

I checked all the voltages and have 110v coming into the controller board on P16 so I know my line filter is OK. It looks like all the other diagnostics in the repair manual are specific to specific failures and expect the control panel to be "live".

Any suggestions on where to go from here would be appreciated.
