Gentle cycle/slow spin speed problem
Model Number: wwsr3090t6ww Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Hello,
Gentle/Slow cycle.. tub fills. Motor tries to start agitation but just clicks loudly trying to start but won't. On Normal/Slow cycle.. tub fills. Motor starts OK agitation wash OK, drains OK but when calling for spin. Motor won't start. Clicks loudly and attempt to start but won't get going. ON Normal/Fast setting every thing works like it should. Problem seems isolated to Gentle and slow spin functions. I am going to order 4 rubber tub torque straps that I discovered are broke when I pulled the front cover off. These are no problem to replace but if I am looking at significantly costlier ordeal given my main problem a new machine may be in order. In general though washer is in good shape for it's age. sounds like you need a motor+clutch assembly, replacement #ap3160670
